It’s hard for me to believe that a year has already passed since I visited Tahiti on a week-long cruise with Windstar Cruises. Visiting was the culmination of a lifetime of dreaming and the South Pacific not only lived up to my lofty expectations, the islands exceeded them in every way. It really is a magical place, to employ an overused term, but that’s the only way I can think to describe French Polynesia. No photo will ever do it justice, but today I want to share some of my favorite photos from what was honestly a dream come true.

Tahiti looks like a piece of paradise which I would love to explore pretty soon, Matt! Your pictures made me fall in love with the place. When’s the best time of the year to go there?
After seeing your pictures, it’s definitely on my bucket list now.
Matt, your pictures are amazing. I was lucky enough to visit Tahiti last year and these images definitely captured the essence of it. I mean look at those jagged, tropical mountains. Just beautiful
