South Iceland Photos: 13 Of My Favorite Snapshots

Iceland is a special place and I’m certainly not the only person to think that. From almost nowhere, Iceland has erupted into one of the hottest travel destinations in the world. People from all walks of life are descending upon this small island in the North Atlantic to see in person those special sights which have all of us drooling in wanderlust. I’ve shared a lot about my own travel experiences in Iceland over the years so today I thought I’d share the highlights from my most recent trip by showcasing my favorite South Iceland photos. This is a special region of the country, as I think you’ll soon agree.

  1. I love love love your pics. I went to Iceland and saw much of what you show but it was April 2015 so everything was covered in Snow. Your pics make me want to go back to see everything again but green! I loved seeing the Navy Plane and many of those places but I kind of also skipped over Jokulsarlon Glacier Lagoon and would love to go back and perhaps spend some time there because I loved seeing the actual glacier but to see all that colorful ice in the water with your pics makes me envious.
