Safaris are experiences like none other. They combine so many elements of the travel experience that I crave from amazing hospitality to the spirit of true discovery and of course admiring some of the most beautiful and remarkable animals on the planet. As an ardent animal lover and conservationist, the animals are naturally the highlight of any safari experience for me and traveling with Abercrombie & Kent and their expert guides provided a wildlife experience the likes of which I didn’t even know was possible. Over the course of a short week we found and observed so many different types of animals at almost every turn that it’s hard to remember them all. What I do remember is seeing many baby animals, those cute miniature versions of their parents that were like stuffed animals come to life. We saw so many that I thought I’d devote this week’s photo series to them, after all, who doesn’t like baby animals?

This makes me want a baby elephant. You know, to just romp around with!
