  1. Absolutely gorgeous food photos! I want those Spanish mushrooms immediately, but the traditional Xhosa meal is a close second. Food is such a complex topic, and it plays such an important role, especially when it comes to travel. Some of our most vivid travel memories involve sharing a meal or some new recipe we learned. We’ve been talking about food, travel and culture in our “Food for Thought” interview series over on our blog, and it’s been fascinating to hear different peoples’ takes on the subject. Thanks for sharing your memories through these awesome shots!

  2. Great shots – love the dumpling (which happens to be one of my favourites). Food is is such an important element of exploring. I’m glad that so many people embrace trying new cuisines, whether in restaurant or from a cart in the street. My stomach doesn’t normally rumble just yet (it’s just after 7am in Aus), but it’s made itself known after looking at these pics!
