Instagramming Around Germany

I love Instagram as a social media platform. Since travel is inherently a visual story, Instagram lets me experiment with photos and have some fun with how I share a new place. I went Instagram crazy during my latest trip to Germany, so I thought I’d share some of the highlights during that time, just in case you already aren’t following me on Instagram. 1. Nope, I rarely do in Europe. While it helps to speak a few words of any foreign language, in Europe many signs are also in English and many people speak English. Plus there’s always pointing and waving :)

  1. ….and now I’m craving currywurst.

I think it’s the most inaccurate name for a food ever. Surely they should have named it curryBEST?

  2. Fantastic photos! I have lived in Germany twice, total of 3,5 years and it’s one of my favorite countries.
Fan of your Instagram photos, hope you consider joining us for Instagram Travel Thursday too!

  3. You make Berlin look as lovely I remembered it to be. It’s been a while since my last visit there, but a little refresher visit would be nice – and great photos are a good starting point for planning a trip!

  4. I love these photo’s, particularly the street art and the interesting shapes and shades that you have captured. I am just starting to get the hang of instagram and these photos show a lot of the possibilities.

  5. Great photos! It’s amazing how good sausage, ketchup and a little cumin can taste so good together! Especially with a good beer to chase it down. Thanks for sharing.
