  1. I wish I hadn’t seen these photos now . . . I’m drooling all over my laptop! Beautifully photographed and presented, Matt. They all look delicious, but with a sweet tooth the Luang Prabang dish gets my vote.

  2. I’m a huge fan of steak frite anywhere as well. Some of my favourites include L’Express in Montreal and Pastis in New York!

  3. Best part of this post? Looking at the dishes and remembering sharing so many of those experiences with you. Also, if I had to choose upon pain of death: steak and frites = probably my favorite meal too :)

    Lovely photos, Matt!!

  4. My favorite meal abroad… Hm… Difficult to say.
My favorite drink definitely was the white chocolate milk with blueberries and yogurt shake in Dusseldorf.
And for a meal… I actually loved the breakfasts my friend and I made while in Loas Angeles.
Musli, nuts, fresh fruit, yogurt, a cup of tea… And all of that in the sunshine.
    What more could one want?
