While I spend way too much time on social media, I don’t expect everyone else to so you may not have seen my announcements about an exciting new project sponsored by the Canadian Tourism Commission and Travel + Leisure magazine.
In just a couple of weeks I will be traveling into the wilds of Saskatoon in the heart of the Canadian prairie as part of The Canadian Trailblazer Contest and the Explore Like A Local campaign. Not only that, but you could win your own trip of a lifetime to Canada.
Over the last few years I’ve been slowly exploring some of the best cities in Canada and I can’t wait to add Saskatoon in Saskatchewan to that list. So what will I be doing there and how can you win? Well, here’s a little video I put together to explain some of the details.
When you visit my Trailblazer web site, you’ll have the chance to offer your best recommendations on what I should do in Saskatoon. I need to know what to do, what to see and where to eat. Submit your best tips and I’ll do as many as possible while exploring the city and region. During the trip and of course afterwards, I’ll be sharing my photos and stories to let you know what I’m doing and to answer any questions you may have about Saskatoon. I can’t wait to visit this city in the heart of Canada, so head on over to the Trailblazer web site and tell me what to do!
You don’t have much time to submit your tips (June 25-July 8 2012), so visit the site and enter them today. Then please be sure to follow me when I start my adventure the week of July 9th. I’ll be updating from the road on Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest, Instagram:LandLopers and of course LandLopers. Every day we’ll be putting together some photo highlights of my day, so be sure to check back often.
So to recap: I’m going to Canada – You can win a trip to Canada – Head on over to the Trailblazer web site and leave your favorite tips – Follow me during the adventure – Let the fun ensue!
Next stop Saskatoon!
Please note, to be eligible to win the contest you must be a U.S. citizen.Add to Flipboard Magazine.
