Several months ago, I announced that LandLopers had been selected to participate in an innovative new program, the Lana’i Visitor’s Bureau New Media Artist-in-Residence Program.
The program includes seven travel bloggers who will each visit the Hawaiian island of Lana’i at different times over a six-month period and tell their own personal stories about this unique place. When we are not traveling or telling our own stories, we will be supporting each other and highlighting the articles, videos and podcasts of our fellow new media artists.
So far two bloggers have ventured out to Lana’i, Shannon Hurst Lane and Chris Gray Faust. They have shared their remarkable stories of the island with the world and next week it’s my turn.
Scott and I were on Lana’i last year, at the recommendation of some friends. Our stay was brief, but in that time we grew to quickly love the small island. My goal this time is simple, to get beneath the skin of Lana’i and to share the hidden secrets and adventures of this beautiful island.
This is where you come in, check out the list below and let me know which activity you would like me to do. Please be sure to follow me and the #VisitLanai tag on Twitter for updates throughout my stay.
