My first favorite 2010 photo was taken while visiting Marrakech, Morocco. Marrakech is a fast paced and slightly confusing city, especially in the ancient square – the Djemaa el Fna. Every night this largest square in North Africa plays host to a large night market, a culinary treat for any traveler.
I took this photo while sitting on a bench at one of the hundreds of food stalls, waiting for the cook to finish our meal. Not only was the circus of people great entertainment, but that dinner was truly remarkable.
One of my favorite places in the world! There is nothing like getting lost in a souk in Marrakech!!! Awesome capture!
there’s one stall I really love and it’s the one where you can see most locals.
There are no tables, you sit around and eat what the cook hands directly.
I first tried it because it was always full and kept going back.
The Place rules!
