This week we learn more about COVID 19 including what it’s like to be quarantined and how to better protect yourself and others. In this episode we chat with a writer in Florence who shares her experience as well as a medical professional who details what the Coronavirus is and what we should be doing.
We are living through unprecedented times and the pandemic has taken many of us by surprise, although it really shouldn’t have. Starting in China and gradually spreading to nearly all points on the globe, governments and localities have taken extreme measures to safeguard the lives of their citizens. To learn more about what it’s been like to live through one of the most restrictive quarantines, we are joined by a travel writer who calls Florence, Italy her home.
It’s also important to me that we all learn how to separate fact from fiction in regards to COVID 19, which is why I asked a travel writer with a medical background to share his expertise. He details what the coronavirus is, how we can better protect ourselves and what the likely effects will be on society in general and the travel industry in particular.
More than anything else, I sincerely hope that this podcast helps educate and prove why it’s vital we all follow government advice and self isolate as much as possible. I also hope everyone stays safe during this tense time.
