Carnival adding Alaska capacity
Carnival Cruise Line will put the Carnival Freedom on seven-day cruises from Seattle to Alaska in 2021 and move the Carnival Miracle to 10- and 11-day Alaska cruises from San Francisco.
The moves will increase capacity in Alaska for Carnival. In the summer of 2020, Carnival will operate the 2,124-passenger Miracle and 2,124-passenger Carnival Spirit in Alaska.
Comcast officials said during an earnings call that Universal’s third theme park in Orlando, Epic Universe, is scheduled to open in 2023.
According to the Orlando Sentinel, Universal spokesman Tom Schroder said that while officials revealed the theme park would open in 2023, they would not provide any further information on which month or season the park could open.
