This week I share my thoughts and advice after my first visit to Walt Disney World. I also interview one of the world’s top experts on the subject, Bob Sehlinger, coauthor of the Unofficial Guide to Walt Disney World.

One year ago I had never been to a Disney property and only had a scant few theme park experiences in general. It wasn’t from a lack of desire; I’ve always enjoyed theme parks and Disney as a company has always fascinated me, as a relative recently reminded me. For whatever reason though, I just had never been until I found myself in Anaheim with some free time and I knew I couldn’t miss the opportunity. Nearly a year later, I’ve been to Disneyland in California on four separate trips, some planned and some unplanned and each experience has been just as fun and magical as the first. There was a noticeable gap though in my Disney experience – Walt Disney World. I recently had the opportunity to finally visit the Most Magical Place on Earth and the book that helped me navigate my way around this massive city was the Unofficial Guide, which is why I’m thrilled that the founder of the series agreed to be a guest on the podcast.
