Seoul to clamp down on taxi drivers overcharging foreign tourists

The government of Seoul on Thursday announced a plan to crack down on taxi drivers who overcharge foreign tourists in time for the peak autumn tourist season.

The crackdown is scheduled for Sept. 30-Oct. 9, a period that coincides with China’s National Day holiday falling on Oct. 1-7, the Seoul Metropolitan Government said.

Guests traveling to Orlando, Florida from London’s Gatwick airport were in for a big surprise today as they boarded Virgin Atlantic’s recently unveiled Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge plane.

Kids of all ages can now start getting excited from the moment they board their flight for their Walt Disney World vacation and visiting the brand new Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge which opened at Disney’s Hollywood Studios this past August.

The new flag promises to offer “cozy rooms” and flexible, communal common spaces designed to foster communication and interaction.

As tourism marketing content goes, it was the glossy kind: On Sept. 14, Saudi Arabia began circulating a slick, drone-footage filled video entitled “Where in the World” on social media and on a dedicated webpage.

Sometime earlier in September, it also began tweeting from several region-specific Twitter accounts — including  those aimed at American, Japanese, British, and Chinese followers — many of which directed to an Instagram account with the same name and branding.
