Marriott International Signs Agreement to Introduce Ritz-Carlton Brand to Montenegro

Marriott International, Inc., today announced the signing of a milestone agreement with Northstar D.O.O. to bring The Ritz-Carlton brand to Montenegro. Under the plan funded by Al Yasra, The Ritz-Carlton, Montenegro and The Ritz-Carlton Residences, Montenegro are scheduled to bring the brand’s unrivaled elegance and legendary service to the country in 2023.


MSC Cruises receives approval for Miami double terminal

MSC Cruises has received approval for its planned double terminal at PortMiami, the first such arrangement at the port.

Each terminal will be able to handle 7,000 guests, enabling MSC to berth two mega ships at a time.

The study examines water quality on airlines ranks 23 air carriers in total. All 23 airlines (11 major carriers and 12 regional lines) by using a Water Health Score between zero and five. Zero being the lowest score, and five being pure water that is fully self actualized.


After Spate of Traveler Deaths, the Dominican Republic Is Implementing New Safety Measures for Tourists

The Dominican Republic’s tourism ministry introduced a new commission last week aimed at reassuring potential visitors after at least 10 people died in resorts throughout the country earlier this year and tourism numbers took a nosedive.

The new initiative, the National Committee of Tourism Security announced, combines public agencies and private enterprises to target several issues of concern, including food and beverage safety as well as doubled inspection capacities in tourist areas.
