Disneyland California
Since podcasts are so popular, I’m starting a new feature highlighting some of my favorite shows. To kick things off, I invited the hosts of Gays Do the D: An Unofficial Disney Podcast to come on the show. Since my first visit to Disneyland in 2018, I’ve become fairly obsessive about all things Disney, which is how I found this extremely entertaining podcast. In this episode we learn more about the hosts of the podcast, Adam and Patrick, why they started Gays Do the D and their top tips for visiting both Walt Disney World and Disneyland.

Adam and Patrick are long-time friends and Disney fans, but their fandom for all things Disney started long before they met when they were introduced to the magic of the Disney parks and movies as children. In 2014, however, their enthusiasm for Disney reached new heights when they visited Walt Disney World Resort as adults. Since then, they have visited Disney’s domestic parks many times every year, both separately and together, and have found new and exciting ways to expand on their passion for Disney, whether it’s Patrick’s love of runDisney events or Adam’s hunger for any bit of Disney history he can learn about. In 2018, Adam and Patrick started Gays Do the D, a weekly podcast about all things Disney from an LGBTQ+ perspective as a way to share their love of Disney culture while also poking fun of their Disnerd mania. The podcast is celebrating its one-year anniversary in September 2019.
