Millennials Willing to Go Into Debt for Travel Experiences

People love traveling – whether it’s meant to get away and relax or to re-connect with family and loved ones. However, a new survey reveals that some people are so willing to travel even if it may hurt them financially.

The home sharing platform Vrbo conducted a survey of American travelers with the help of Ipsos and found that millennials aren’t willing to put off their vacation, even if they can’t afford it.

 

U.S. suspends Venezuela flights

The DOT has suspended air service between the U.S. and Venezuela.

The order, signed by DOT secretary Elaine Chao on Wednesday, came at the behest of acting homeland security secretary Kevin McAleenan, who concluded that conditions in Venezuela threaten the safety and security of passenger, aircraft and crew.

 

TWA Hotel Opens At JFK Airport

Wednesday marked the grand opening of the new TWA Hotel at John F. Kennedy Airport.

The landmark Trans World Airlines Flight Center, designed by famed architect Eero Saarinen, first opened in 1962. Now, for the first time in 20 years, it has reopened as the airport’s sole on-site hotel.
