The Carnival Corporation announced Tuesday a joint cruise venture with China State Shipbuilding Corporation (CSSC) under the name CSSC Carnival Cruise Shipping Limited.
The new China-based cruise company plans to operate its own fleet to serve Chinese cruise guests by the end of 2019 and will purchase two existing ships from Carnival Corporation’s Costa Group.

United Airlines took delivery of its first Boeing 787-10 Dreamliner on Monday.
With that, United becomes the first North American carrier to take possession of the 787-10, the newest and biggest variant of Boeing’s long-haul 787 widebody jet.
United also becomes the first airline in the world to have all three of those variants. United already has the 787-8 and 787-9 versions of the Dreamliner.
Skiers from New York to Montana and from Colorado to Washington state will find major chairlift and gondola enhancements during the upcoming 2018-19 season.
Data compiled by the National Ski Areas Association (NSAA) reveals that the U.S. will see 27 lift and gondola installations this year, which will offer a combined capacity of 56,500 people per hour and will ascend a combined 23,500 feet.
