US Passport ‘Execution Fees’ to Increase in April
U.S travelers who will need a new passport in 2018 can potentially save themselves a few dollars if they avoid waiting until the last minute to apply.
According to the U.S. Department of State, passport “execution fees” will increase from $25 to $35 starting April 2, 2018. The fee change will bump the total cost of a U.S. passport to $145 for adults and $115 for children 16 and younger.

Thousands of employees turned out under a light drizzle to welcome the company’s newest jet, snapping selfies and photos at a roll-out ceremony. Dubbed the Max 7, the aircraft is the third and smallest member of the 737 Max family of narrowbody jets. The Max 7 is designed to carry up to 172 passengers with a maximum range of 3,850 nautical miles, making it the longest-flying 737 variant.
Celebrity creates small-group tours for Med cruises
Celebrity Cruises has created a series of shore excursions that emphasizes discovery of hidden gems.
The first set of excursions in the Celebrity Discovery Collection will be in the western Mediterranean, such as a live concert of medieval music in a basilica in Barcelona, and a day in southern France that starts in a wine vault in Nice and ends at the medieval town of St. Paul de Vence.
Google announced Tuesday it has changed the way people can search for hotels and flights using smartphones in a bid to make trip planning simpler on mobile devices.
The company said hotel and flight bookings can now be made through Google Search results. Users can scroll through search results for hotels that include photos, and swipe through those photos without having to leave the list of results. Date and price filtering can also be done through the results page, and users can also now book through Google.Add to Flipboard Magazine.
