Azamara Releases Details on New Ship’s Refurbishment and Inaugural Cruises
Cruise Critic

Azamara Club Cruises has announced details of the refit and first cruises of the newest addition to its fleet, Azamara Pursuit. The ship will go into wet dock (similar to a dry dock, except that the ship is in water) in Belfast, Ireland, in spring 2018; it will set sail on August 1 and be christened in late August.

The ship — a sister to current Azamara vessels, Azamara Journey and Azamara Quest — is currently sailing as Adonia for P&O Cruises. In spring 2018, it will head to the Harland and Wolff shipyard in Belfast, where it will get a complete makeover by outfitting specialist MJM Group. When the work is completed by the end of July, the ship will be nearly identical to its new sisters.

Border Inspections on Electronic Devices Reaches Record High

US Customs and Border Protection inspected a record number of electronic devices belonging to international travelers in 2017.

According to a new report from the Associated Press, 30,200 phones and other such devices were inspected in fiscal year 2017. That figure represents a 60 percent jump from 2016.

A CBP official told the Associated Press that the dramatic increase is likely tied to the fact that travelers now carry more electronic devices with them.
