I’ve made traveling to Europe during the Christmas holiday season a fun tradition, but this year I added a twist. Instead of returning to favorite destinations like Germany or northern France, I decided to join a Viking oceans cruise sailing from Barcelona to Rome. Along the way I enjoyed many of the famous experiences this part of the world is so well known, but I also was privy to seeing these towns and cities during the holiday season, when decoration are on display and everyone seems to have a little more spring to their step. I have a lot to share from my trip, but here are some of the photo highlights from my Christmas trek along the Mediterranean.
