Last year I had the great opportunity to travel on safari with the world leader in luxury travel experiences, Abercrombie & Kent. As I’ve detailed here on the site and elsewhere, spending time in Tanzania and exploring the many parks and reserves was one of the most extraordinary experiences of my life, thanks almost entirely to the expertise of Abercrombie & Kent. My past travel experience in the country is fairly limited and most of the cities on the itinerary this week will be completely new to me. More than that, I am very much looking forward to learning more about the local culture and of course, trying as many new foods as possible. Food is an important aspect of any Connections Boutique Group Journey, but in Spain I imagine it’ll take on a place of prominence. From my own experiences, I know that the story of Spain is best understood through the stomach, a lesson I’m always happy to undertake.
