Swiss Airlines to introduce WiFi and trial inflight phone calls

Swiss Airlines has announced a one-year trial of roaming mobile phone access on some of its services. The airline will also be bringing WiFi to all cabin classes of its new Boeing 777-300ER aircraft.

The Swiss national carrier, now owned by Lufthansa, has nine new Boeing 777-300ER aircraft on order, which are due to enter service in February. The planes bring a new set of services for passengers, including wireless connectivity options for staying connected in the skies.

 

Hotel offers $1 million Super Bowl package

You can experience the big game in style at San Francisco’s Fairmont Hotel with a package that includes 22 tickets and a four-night stay in the penthouse suite. All you need is $1 million.

The five-star hotel is offering the Million-Dollar Fantasy Big Game 50 package for the Super Bowl.

According to Forbes.com, the package will also include a snack-packed pantry, an open bar in the hotel room, a swag bag full of NFL merchandise, a monogrammed robe and a pop-up tailgate party catered by a Fairmont chef and bartender.

Free snacks returned to the economy cabin of United Airlines’ flights Monday.  And, soon, free snacks will be back for American Airlines’ coach-class customers, too.

American, the nation’s biggest carrier, announced Monday that it will restore complimentary snacks and add more free in-flight entertainment options in the coach-class cabin.
