1. Around the World in 80 Jobs

It’s with sadness that I include this post in my roundup, not because of the author but because what happened to him. Earlier this week Turner announced that the world’s largest HR company, Adecco stole his web site’s name, concept and even hired an actor that looks like him to star in their YouTube videos. They never acknowledged the theft and have not paid Turner for the use of his intellectual property. Instead they have feigned ignorance and made his life a living hell. They thoughtlessly and recklessly destroyed his livelihood and don’t seem to care. I don’t ask for much from you all, but take a second to visit their Facebook Page or Twitter feed and let them know your thoughts on the matter.

This is a link to the cached version of Turner’s post because his site has crashed due to the thousands of people around the world who want to learn more about this stunning theft.

2. Velvet Escape

I’ve long admired Keith’s photos from the air and I’m so glad he finally put them all into a great post. Take a look and I know you’l be inspired to book your next flight soon.

3. The Planet D

I’ve been to Australia, but only once and that trip sadly didn’t include a trip to South Australia. I say sadly because after looking at these photos, it has now climbed to a much higher spot on my travel wish list.

4. Waegook Tom

I love Tom’s take on the travel experience as he wanders about the planet. He’s funny, self-effacing and always honest; all qualities that lead to great posts like this one. In what seems to be a series on food around the world, Tom shares with us his thoughts on the deliciousness of Colombian street food.
