LandLopers Picks of the Week

1. Adventures with Ben

I had the pleasure of meeting Ben at a recent conference, but I’ve enjoyed his web site for much longer. I like this particular post out of purely selfish reasons. We’re traveling to Australia in a couple of months and high on my list of experiences is koala spotting. Luckily I have this handy guide to aid in my mission.

2. Angie Away – Adventures in World Travel

Angie hits on an important topic and one that I’ve been pondering for a while. So many people use time away from home as an opportunity to party without much concern for the places they are visiting. I’ve never understood this behavior – wouldn’t it be cheaper to just stay home and drink? This is a great post because while it may spotlight one particular destination, the problem is by no means isolated.

3. Twenty-Something Travel

Stephanie has a great writing style. It’s engaging, funny and always informative. This is part of a series of posts about her recent around-the-world trip. Although she is writing from the perspective of long-term travel, her tips are applicable to anyone no matter where they may go. Great tips here!

4. Velvet Escape

Ok, once again I picked a post that has personal interest to me, but that’s not to say that I don’t enjoy Keith’s blog. His post about Melbourne is extremely informative and useful, perfect for anyone planning a trip to Oz.
