While in Morocco, we did something slightly off the beaten track. Rather than take one of the common Berber village/camel ride tourist bus day trips we contacted a twitter friend for help. Andy Robertson of the Scotland based Splash Rafting Morocco offers a whole host of adventure tours designed to not only show a side of Morocco not many see but to give the guest a thrilling day.
Splash Morocco specializes in white water rafting and tubing, but also offer canyoning, quad biking and even multi-day Moroccan tours. We opted for the white water tubing adventure, which is not your standard leisurely trip down river with cooler in tow. It is instead a trek downstream over a continuous stretch of class 2 and 3 rapids.
