Photo Series: Touristy Places I Love To Visit

For whatever reason, touristy sites around the world have a bad reputation. Travel writers and bloggers like to advise people to avoid popular sites, to go “off the beaten path,” whatever that means. That’s silly. Touristy sites are popular for a reason, they’re usually awesome. Should you combine them along with something a little bit more low key and unexpected? Yes, but certainly don’t avoid them altogether. That’s why I made them the topic of this week’s fake #FriFotos post, a photo series sharing my favorite and admittedly touristy places around the world.
