I hate to admit it, but I’ve been so busy this week exploring the best Cape Town has to offer that I haven’t had a lot of time to peruse my favorite travel blogs. So instead of highlighting specific posts, I want to highlight some of my favorite travel blogs that always have great content.
1. Unbrave Girl
Sally’s site is one of my favorites. I love her sense of humor and keen observations of what everyday life is like living in China.
Michael is a former attorney who decided to give it all up and travel the world – indefinitely. The results are honest posts and amazing photos detailing the ups and downs of life around the world.
3. Wild Junket
I of course love Nellie’s blog, her writing is exciting and always interesting. But that’s not what I want to highlight today, today I want to showcase her brilliant magazine. This bi-monthly masterpiece is designed to showcase the best of adventure travel around the world in order to get more people to see and experience the world. If you want excellent travel writing, this is your place.
Abby is another world traveler and writer who had enough of crazy hours at work and decided to follow her dream of being a travel writer. Obviously she made the right choice as she has become one of the best travel writers in the world after only a few years. Her web site is a true writing lab, a place where ideas and concepts are mixed and tested and we the readers are the lucky beneficiaries.

Who am I? I am a typical Gen-Xer and recovering cubicle-dweller who has a passion for all things travel. My site brings a unique perspective that is hard to find online. I am not a backpacker, nor am I...

Matt, great picks – I LOVE Sally’s blog, one of my absolute favourites. Her writing style is fantastic and she always has me in stitches. Plus, she loves pork and rocks out in pink pleather! My kind of blogger for sure.

Guys, guys, enough, already. All this flattery is going to go to my head.
But… uh… while you’re at it, I’d like to point out that neither of you have called me beautiful yet today. And you know how I feel about people calling me beautiful. (Namely, people should really do it more.)
As always it’s an honor to be included, Matt. Oh, and now that I’m back in the States, we MUST meet up. I’m often in DC to visit friends (and my former housecat). So I’ll let you know when I’m there next!
