Who doesn’t love a cool, refreshing pool with a view to die for? Well that’s the theme of this week’s #FriFotos event on Twitter and I had plenty of material from which to choose. Almost everywhere I travel I stay at a hotel with an amazing pool, but these are some of my favorites.

Like Malia, I’ve been to the Polynesian Spa in NZ too, which I really liked. Banff looks great too, and so does Puerto Vallarta in Mexico. A rooftop pool I fell in love with is the one of the Vine Hotel in Funchal, Madeira – a design hotel overlooking the old town, a fortress and the sea, of course. Highly recommended.
