It’s that time of year again when we as a global community are bonded through our mutual appreciation of the choco-hazelnut spread Nutella. World Nutella Day is a time to recognize the greatness of the snack and the role it plays in the travel stories of millions of people around the world. Raise your hand if your first trip to Europe in some way involved Nutella, be it on a crepe, waffle or out of the jar. All of you? Good, I thought so.
In the spirit of this momentous day, which is celebrated on February 5th, I composed a short tribute song and enlisted the help of the Washington, DC travel community to help stage an online performance. So enjoy this video and happy Nutella Day!
Nutella Tribute Song

Who am I? I am a typical Gen-Xer and recovering cubicle-dweller who has a passion for all things travel. My site brings a unique perspective that is hard to find online. I am not a backpacker, nor am I...

What a fun post–and an important one. Like you said in the video, Nutella has transformed really boring bread into something special!
Great job!
