1. Fogg Odyssey
This is a great piece by the always entertaining Troy. It’s nice to find a writer who gets in between the place and finds a way to make a new destination relatable and more human. Great post.
Expose: India’s Rickshaw Drivers Tell All
I have followed Andi for quite a while and always enjoy her site. That’s why I can’t believe I haven’t highlighted it before. That’s changing today with this great post on frugal fare in Madrid, one of my favorite cities. It’s in Europe though which usually means tres cher, so posts like this are essential to show people you don’t have to be a gazillionaire to travel and enjoy the best the world has to offer.

3. Jandal Road
Since discovering my intense love of New Zealand earlier this year, I feel a certain kinship with those who are as obsessed as I am. Christina is one of those people. That was just the entree to her site, after poking around I realized that she has a lot of great information for the independent traveler like myself. I enjoyed her post this week because she takes a fairly well known travel destination, and shares something unique and little known about it. I love that.
An island paradise in Switzerland: Brissago Islands, Lago Maggiore
Iain always has great travel information and comments to share, be it through social media or his fantastic site. This post in particular may be a little bit “inside baseball” but I really enjoyed it and think it perfectly demonstrates his sardonic wit and keen observational skills

Thanks so much for the shout out, this is one of my favorite posts of the week, I always love finding new blogs to read!
