The Amman Citadel rises high above the city providing an amazing 360 degree view of Jordan’s capital. The site is an ancient one and there’s evidence of a variety of civilizations still in full sight today. One of the post impressive is Hercules’ hand, one of the few remnants of a giant statue and the centerpiece of the Temple of Hercules that once occupied this space.

Who am I? I am a typical Gen-Xer and recovering cubicle-dweller who has a passion for all things travel. My site brings a unique perspective that is hard to find online. I am not a backpacker, nor am I...

These are valuable heritage sites.
