This video is in support of the Blog4NZ Project. Blog4NZ is a grass-roots effort on the part of the international travel blogging community to promote all that is good about travel in New Zealand. It is a worldwide blogging event that is running from the 21st to 23nd of March — the one-month anniversary of the quake.
Following the devastating earthquake in Christchurch on February 22 this year, New Zealand has been in shock. Tourism makes up approximately 10% of New Zealand’s GDP and it is essential for the world to know that New Zealand is open for business. The goal of the Blog4NZ event is to show people that New Zealand is a great travel destination.

Who am I? I am a typical Gen-Xer and recovering cubicle-dweller who has a passion for all things travel. My site brings a unique perspective that is hard to find online. I am not a backpacker, nor am I...

Loved the animation! And the photos are stunning – colours, composition all tell of a really magical place. I do love New Zealand!

I think Pig undervalues the sheep-tipping industry. It’s a great video, very funny, love the voices.
