LandLopers Picks of the Week

1. Go, See, Write

Without question, Michael is one of my favorite travel bloggers and I should probably just devote a weekly spot to his work. This week he tackled a subject I love dearly, bocce ball. This oddly addictive game has variants found all over the world, but leave it to Michael to find the Napa Valley wine version.

2. Downtown Traveler

With Valentine’s Day right around the corner, how could I not feature a romantic travel post? This piece about finding romance in Gotham comes from a truly great travel site.

3. The Road Forks

Traveling around the world to far-flung locales is in itself a romantic notion. Most people dream of traveling more often, but few are actually able to achieve this goal. I really enjoyed this post by my talented friends over at The Road Forks for its honesty in how they pay for their lengthy travels.

4. Lost in Cheeseland

This is a brand new site for me and I am thrilled to have discovered it. I’ve written many times about my love of Paris, and this site only fuels that passion. This post highlighting the best burgers in the City of Lights made me instantly hungry both for some red meat as well as the city I love.
