I have always wanted to ride in a helicopter; you might even consider it a bucket list item. I knew that while visiting Hawaii I had to find a way to see Oahu from the air.
You haven’t really experienced the beauty of Oahu until you’ve seen it from a helicopter. We took a 45 minute Blue Hawaiian helicopter tour and saw everything from Diamond Head to the North Shore. The most amazing moment was flying over Pearl Harbor and the U.S.S. Arizona Memorial where you can see the silhouette of the ship beneath the water.
Here are some photos of the tour and a short video to give you an idea of what the experience is like. Sorry if it’s a bit shaky but, you know, I was in a helicopter.
